International Garden Products Selects Assist
Multi-Channel e-commerce solution to support catalog and web offerings
SALT LAKE CITY, UT — August 28, 2000 — Assist today announced International
Garden Products has selected Assist e.System to support their successful catalog
operations. Assist e.System’s comprehensive functionality will allow
International Garden Products to automate all functions, from front-end order
taking through customer service, payment, inventory management, shipping,
accounting and all the steps in between including sales analysis.
According to William Babcock, President Direct Marketing at International Garden
Products “We began looking for a new system because the systems we were using
for our different web sites and catalog orders were incompatible. Neither system
provided “real time” information or automatic links onto the internet which were
crucial factors in our decision to choose Assist e.System.”
“We are proud to welcome International Garden Products to our family of
customers,” says Scott Anderson, Vice President and General Manager, eCommerce
Solutions Group at Assist. “Our customers are able to meet the challenge of
integrating the Web with traditional retail and catalog channels while
maintaining the highest level of customer service. International Garden Products
will gain numerous benefits from e.System’s broad functionality and
multi-channel capabilities.”
Assist e.System, is a multi-channel solution with a full suite of e-commerce
tools to enable businesses (including retail, wholesale, and manufacturing) to
implement a successful, fully integrated, Web and direct commerce presence.
e.System integrates order management, customer service, inventory, warehouse,
marketing, purchasing, accounting and other business processes in real-time,
enabling each department to become instantly informed and updated as
transactions are processed through the business cycle.
