RESOURCES BRING GROWTH AND EXPERIENCE TO ASSIST CORNERSTONE
Scott Aaron, formerly of the Assist technical support staff, and Damon Dimaria, a former sales executive for Assist Cornerstone, rejoin Assist Cornerstone to spearhead growth in the technical services and sales support arenas.
SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- October 1, 2004 -- Assist Cornerstone, Inc. a leading supplier of enterprise software to the direct marketing industry, today announced the appointment of Scott Aaron as a Senior Technical Developer, and Damon Dimaria, as the Sales Support Supervisor.
Mr. Aaron originally joined Assist Cornerstone straight out of Ricks College in 1999, with an Associates Degree in Computer Science. Since that time, Mr. Aaron has become a top-level technician within the Order Management software field. After spending the past 18 months as an independent consultant, Mr. Aaron returns to Assist to provide Assist further resources in its growth plan.
Mr. Aaron says, “There are several reasons for my decision to return to Assist Cornerstone. The local managers are making the right decisions for the company. We have a good growth and development plan over the next two years, which includes the hiring of several former Assist salespeople to take the product actively to the marketplace. Assist V9 will be released in October, and the future development plan is exciting.”
Marty Wescott, Director of Client Accounts for Assist Cornerstone, noted, “Scott brings a breadth of experience and knowledge within the direct marketing, cataloging, and Internet retailing space. In addition, his experience as an independent contractor has provided him with a unique perspective relative to the Assist package and its technology, its unique capabilities, and its value proposition. We are thrilled to have Mr. Aaron back on our team.”
Damon Dimaria also rejoins Assist Cornerstone in the capacity of Sales Support. Mr. Dimaria will provide a wide range of support to both the new sales opportunities as well as existing customer base. In an effort to better utilize resources and personnel, he will also provide similar support for Ameritege Technology Partners, Assist Cornerstone’s parent company.
Mr. Wescott says about Mr. Dimaria, “Damon is tenacious. His eye for detail and relentless work ethic will provide a tremendous benefit to the Assist customer base as a whole. Whether it be pursuing new opportunities or providing increased service for our existing customers, he flat out gets the job done.”
